RECOMMENDATION
Ø Visit to the fields daily and collect data about plant diseases.
Ø Visit to the Glass-house daily and check the temperature, Germination of pots, watering the pots, and check the disease and insect attack in the glass-house plants.
Ø Two times spray the glass-house against milly-bug (FMC, ACELAN).
Ø Visit to the farmer fields and discuss about diseases.
Ø Visit to the cotton fields which are sowing in the presence of us and check the germination of plants and count the week plants daily.
Ø Daily collect the infected leaves and healthy branches from the field and graft them in the lab for practice.
Ø Check the germination rate of different verities of cotton in lab.
Ø Also work in media room and prepare different media for the isolation of fungus e.g. Richard agar modified media.
Ø Also check the white-fly movement on leaf with the help of suitable apparatus

SUMMARY
Seven varieties of cotton were selected for graft transmission. These plants were grafted through petiole grafting technique (PGT) using the disease leaves of cotton leaf curl virus from the maintained culture. After 24 hours the grafted plants were kept in the glass house to maintain the temperature. Data on graft plants were taken daily starting from one week after grafting and continued up to 90 days. The symptoms of cotton leaf curl virus were graded according to the scale. All varieties were grafted successfully. Out of these 7 varieties, no one was immune all these varieties were susceptible to cotton leaf curl virusCIM-573 and CIM-557, CIM-496, were highly susceptible and severe symptoms develop at early stage of plants. CIM-599 and CIM-598 were highly tolerant. While C1M-496, CIM- 482 were moderately tolerant varieties, it is concluded that cotton plants are susceptible to cotton leaf curl virus. As the complete control of its vector whitefly is not possible by insecticides and other methods because of its large population and occurrence of alternate hosts. To control cotton leaf curl virus completely we should develop resistant varieties against this virus
